A great deal of the London Cycling Campaign’s work is about selling a vision for a better city to important decision-makers, the media, and the public. We’ve found that it’s much easier to get people to understand what we’re proposing for London when we visualise it.
With the help of Release the Chicken, we’ve put forward exciting new street designs for Blackfriars Bridge, Parliament Square and the Olympic Park as part of our ‘Love London, Go Dutch’ campaign. These graphics have helped us gain tremendous amount of publicity, and resulted in many of our Go Dutch aspirations becoming mayoral policy. Without Milenne’s skills this might never have happened.

Similarly, her Safer Urban Lorry 3D graphic was so convincing that it resulted in spectacularly good media coverage on regional and national TV and newspapers. It’s too early to say whether we’ve changed policy in this area, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see lorries like this in London before too long.
